Designed and built in the late 16th century by William Cecil, Lord Treasurer to Elizabeth I and lived in by his descendants since then. A remarkable house with vast collections of paintings, fine furniture, ceramics and Works of Art. Deer Park and Sculpture Garden; a great day out!
