A popular family favourite, the White Cliffs Experience in Dover was one of the first attractions to offer more than one attraction under a single roof, spanning 2000 years of history from the Roman invasion to the 1940s. And as we move forward into the new millennium, the White Cliffs Experience takes you even further back in time with the 3,600 year old Dover Bronze Age Boat taking pride of place in a custom built gallery, complete with theatre and laboratory.

The Centre has virtually swept the board for tourism awards including the acclaimed “England’s Visitor Attraction of the Year 1991”, the British Tourist Authorities “Come to Britain Special Award” and the prestigious British Travel Award from the Guild of Travel Writers. The White Cliffs Experience has also won the UK Tourism Marketing Award for Visitor Attractions, a Civic Trust design award and the Interpret Britain Award for the creative way the Centre interprets Britain’s history.
