Local museum with childrens activities during holidays

These late Victorian canal-side warehouses were converted for use as a Ragged School by Dr Barnardo.
Visitors can now experience for themselves how Victorian children were taught, in a reconstructed classroom of the period.
There are also displays on local history, industry and life in the East End.
We have free family activties from 2-5pm on the first Sunday of each month.
Sunday 6 October 2002- Stories and drama to celebrate Black History Month.

October Half Term - Open Tues, Weds, Thurs with activties for all ages about treasures and collecting.

Sunday 3 November 2002 - Create your own Rangoli pattern to celebrate Diwali.

Sunday 1 December - Make up your own fruity punch to warm you up!
