The National Portrait Gallery has the finest and largest collection of portraiture in the world of great men and women from the middle ages to the present day.

Eveyone from Henry VIII and William Shakespeare to Paul McCartney and Elizabeth Taylor are represented in paintings, photographs, sculptures and engravings. Special exhibitons throughout the year.

The Portrait Restuarant and Portrait Cafe. Gift Shop, Book Shop.
Open Sunday - Wednesday 10am - 6pm.

Late Night openings Thursday and Friday evenings until 9pm with special events on both evenings.
