About
Llancaiach Fawr Manor "Where history comes alive"
Llancaiach Fawr Manor House- one of the best surviving examples of a semi-fortified Tudor manor house in the country. The house and formal gardens have been restored to their former glory and today visitors will find themselves transported back in time to the Civil Wars years of the 17th century.
As you enter the manor house, you are greeted by the servants of Colonel Edward Prichard, dressed in period costume and speaking in the style of the 17th century. As the servants guide you around the Manor House, they regale fascinating tales of life in a gentry household in 1645.
The house itself was lived in until 1980, and enjoys the reputation of being one of the most haunted houses in Wales, with regular sightings and inexplicable happenings occuring throughout the year!
£4.50 (adults)
